Yes. It took about 10 days between when I mailed it to when they applied it to my account.
Be sure to put the name of the website you are subscribing for as well as your handle on the money order. I also added the term of membership the membership in months. I also included a note with the same information on a piece of paper in the envelope.

i've never have used the money order but i have bought a visa or mastercard gift card and received my gold membership that way just remember when you do it that way under where it wants the name on card put whatever it say

Yes, several times. As someone else posted it takes 7-10 days. The down side - if the mail gets lost... The up side - no record on your CC and reduced exposure if/when the site gets hacked again.

I've used a money order twice and both times the account was upgraded in less than 3 days.

I use a pre paid card now as the bank would not send the money to an over sea account from my debit card
